ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND MANAGEMENT TRAINING IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING & MATHEMATICS
Mobility of high quality students, emerging, early stage and established researchers and administrators between Europe and the states of the Western Balkan region
Supported by the Erasmus Mundus Programme of the European Union
EM2-STEM offers scholarships to higher education students and staff for study, research and professional exchanges between the European Union and the Western Balkans. Students and staff working in the STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are strongly encouraged to apply and students and staff of other disciplines will be considered. These are high profile opportunities with generous grants funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus Mundus Programme (Action 2). The application process is competitive and only the best applicants will be selected.
Please note that degrees will not be awarded under this programme. Student opportunities are for study abroad only for which academic credits will be awarded. These credits may be recognised towards the degree at the student's home university (if enrolled).
In total, there are 264 scholarships / fellowships available for the duration of the project. All mobilities must start by 31 December 2011 and conclude by 30 November 2014 (staff mobilities are for one month and may start at any time). The duration of the exchange depends on your level of studies or research/staff status whether that is Bachelor, Master, PhD, Post Doctorate and Staff (Administrative & Teaching). There is one call for applications, opening in February 2011, closing on 15 April 2011.
